what does the Parade Deck In Parade Deck Films mean? Well as a former Marine we met on the Parade Deck daily to for roll call/ debreifing, drill, inspections and the like. It also meant brotherhood, love and life and that is what Parade Deck FIlms is all about. We want you to feel as much love and enjoyment for Indepent film as we do, that come as you are and we will accept you as one of our own.
Like every young boy growing up in the 80’s, Michael became obsessed with Star Wars before he could talk or walk and spent a majority of his youth and adulthood in theaters and the video consuming everything he could get his hands on becoming a lifelong student of film. After spending a time in the Marine Corps, Michael used his GI Bill to go to Film school and get his degree in Criticism and Film Anaylsis. After school Michael Spent a couple years on the sets of many independent films and television series, he then decided to do something different and after a bet from a dear friend he started Parade Deck Films and distributed their first film In The House Of Flies and has loved doing it ever since.
When he is not dedicating his life to independent film, Michael loves watching and playing Baseball ( Go Red Sox), Bikram Yoga, and playing with his beloved Pug Fenway Park.
